An Introduction to Carriage Hub LLC

I’ve been a carriage driver since 2007 when I bought a pair of large ponies and fell in love with the sport of combined driving. Since 2012 I’ve been on the board of directors of Equestrians Institute, a Northwest nonprofit equestrian group. Equestrians Institute provides educational opportunities and competitions in the disciplines of dressage, eventing, driving, and sporthorse breeding. I’m currently both the President of the Board and the Driving Director. The driving division hosts four to six driving events each year.

In 2021, I downsized to a pair of small ponies and in 2022 I ordered a presentation carriage for them. Jack Alvarez, Driving Essentials owner, and Sterling Graburn, a Glinkowski rep for Driving Essentials, created the specifications for my extensively customized Glinkowski Spider Super Light carriage. The carriage arrived a couple of months later. It was beautiful – but there were a couple of things that weren’t quite right. Specifically, the evener was too far forward and the pole mount was too wide. I was super impressed with how Jack and Glinkowski worked together to make sure the issues were fixed and I quickly had new parts on my doorstep. The customer service was superb – and they both clearly cared.

When Driving Essentials closed in summer of 2024, I decided to explore being the North American dealer for Glinkowski carriages and a supplier of Glinkowski parts. Jack introduced me to Glinkowski leadership and I was impressed with their passion for their products and their commitment to producing quality carriages. Carriage Hub LLC was born.

I am excited to work with Glinkowski on the launch of new carriages to the North American market. They have a new carriage called the Puma that has torsion suspension on all four wheels. I have a feeling my small pony pair has a new marathon carriage in their future.
